أهمية التكنولوجيا في التعليم

في ظل الحضور القوي للتكنولوجيا في القرن الواحد والعشرين أصبح من الضروري استخدام التكنولوجيا في التعليم لتسهيل العملية التعليمية والارتقاء بها إلى الأفضل،
وتنطلق أهمية استخدام التكنولوجيا في التعليم من الأمور الآتية:
• تدَفع المُعلم لامتلاك مهارات التّدريس باستخدام التّقنيات الحديثة، مثل الأجهزة اللوحية والكاميرات الرّقمية وأجهزة الكمبيوتر.
• تزيد دافعية الطلاب نحو التعلم فيصبح التعلم أكثر متعة، وبالتالي تُساهم في رفع التّعلم المُوجه ذاتياً لدى الطُّلاب، مما يُساعد على جعل المُتعلمين أكثر تفاعلاً مع العُلوم المُقدمة لهم.
• الاطلاع على المصادر العلمية المتنوعة سواء في البيت، أو المدرسة، أو الجامعة.
• سهولة الوصول لكم كبير من المعلومات التي يصعب الحصول عليها وذلك في وقت قصير.

• تساعد المعلم في تنويع طرائق تقديم المواد التعليمية باستخدام الصور، والرسوم، والفيديو لسهولة شرح المادة العلمية.
• تجاوز عائق الزّمان والمكان حيث تُساهم التّكنولوجيا باستمرارية عملية التّعليم، إذ يستطيع المُتعلم الوصول للمواد التّعليمية عبر شبكة الإنترنت في أي وقت يُريده، مما يُسهل عليه تنظيم وقت تَعلمه ضِمن مهامه الحياتية الأُخرى.
